       Hello all,After a few months of testing the waters here I will do a thumbnail intro.I'm a former stage technician who went and got a masters in #geography with a focus on the #Arctic regarding martime use, search and rescue, policy, and regional relations like the #Arcticcouncil. Since then I'm a geography #adjunct at my local community college and would love to do something else.I also happen to love getting outdoors and exploring the world on foot and by #bicycle Cheers.

       Ok mastodon, here is a hard truth: Never quote or comment on something without citing the item in question.Basically don't be like the #climate deniers who just say the data for their graph is on NOAA. Or like the #lgbtq haters who cite spurious heath stats from "The WHO". Or anything like that, we need to do better by showing where, when, how, and why.        Ok all I'm basically over my current job as a community college adjunct.  So I'm looking for new employment and I'm going to try #getfedihired .I'm an adjunct Geography prof of the last 7 years. This means class creation, coursework development, and being responsive to my students needs. On the tech side I tend to be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint since that is what the school uses. But I also do much of my work in Libreoffice Writer and then export it to Word...1/
