       Our young guys should be careful to floss regularly.  Those little plastic flossers are a convenient way to make this a habit.  The goal is to keep bacteria from setting up shop in the bone and gums.  Your future 40 year old self will be glad not to have to undergo frequent “deep cleanings.”

       I worked as a barista/hotdog guy at a big box hardware store in Seattle.  When that was a thing.  Might still be.Anyway, the best part of an espresso shot is that which comes through first.  The rest is bitter and gross.  There was a time when you could ask the barista for a short pull to get that sweet shot.  Starbucks lexicon is ristretto.  Anyway, if some hipster asked me for a skinny, double shot Milky Way or some shit like that, I would reserve the first drippings for myself, and put the rest in their cup.  They invariably liked it.

       I quit smoking with nicorette gum.  Like twenty years ago.  I still use nicotine lozenges on the almost daily, but I can and do quit them for a few months off and on.  I guess I’m weak and nicotine is good drugs, man.  My doc says I can take themm to the grave with me, no problem.
