       I watched a short interview with Brian Cox recently, and it was depressing.We are probably alone in the Milky Way galaxy. - 4.5b years ago - Earth formed- 3.8b years ago - life emerged- 700m years ago - complex multicellular life forms- 130k years ago - modern humans appear. 3 billion years to go from single celled organisms to complex life. In a violent universe full of upheaval, that’s a very long time. Out of 400 billion stars and countless planets, it might only happen once.

       Destiny 2 is ending, with the final content patch being pushed out on June 9th. Out of my 40+ years playing video games, this title is my biggest purchasing regret. I wish I had never been suckered into getting it at launch, or then persuading my wife to play alongside me. Since it went live, I’ve seen inept decision after inept decision, with the content vault saga being the final nail in the coffin.
