       @analog_feelings I think Zig is a pretty interesting language. I think a big problem though was that it got popular too early as in way before being close to 1.0. Also a lot of marketing is focused on it as an replacement for C instead of it being good in its own right. Zig has definitely come a long way in the past few years but it definitely needs to get to a stable 1.0 version.  I think that Zig now supporting a package manager for its libraries will help their ecosystem grow and be better connected.

       @analog_feelings Aye its cross compiler and ability to interoperate with C is really impressive. If it did replace C it would probably take a long time. The staying power of C has been its standard that is surprisingly portable despite the various different implementations of the C language. I think the language has a lot of merit in its own right and focusing on that will help it's growth.
