       A fun little tidbit on names... Or at least mine.Estel is my chosen name. It comes from Sindarin elvish, and means Hope. In fact it is one of 2 elvish words for hope:Amdir: Optimism or hope based on things you can see/calcuateEstel, or High-hope, the Belief that all that Should be Shall be, even if you cant see it.Estel is also Aragorn's childhood name.I love the quirk that since it also means Star in Latin, Earendil, the Star of High Hope is Estel in both languages.

       When you Wish upon Earendil - A presentation i gave back in 2019 (i think) to my #Tolkien  club This a conceptual adaption using disney songs (and 1 dreamworks ) trying to tell the entire silmarillion story - i will give minimal explinations though feel free to comment, i will reply when/if i have time.the list is 50+ songs so here we go.(the art is all fan art i found online)
