       @distractal I hate this: Linux finally has great (open source) GPU drivers, AFAIK it's the only open source OS with good GPU support, and maybe in a few years Wayland could be fully functional so the Linux Desktop might have had a chance after all... and now they're ruining it with this bullshit :-/I'm so fucking tired...

       @TTimo because media doesn't mention that the biggest problem with age verification isn't that kids can't access social media (though that's also bad), but that everyone has to verify their identity (and leaks will happen)

       @gamingonlinux I wish it was properly based on Yamagi Quake II instead of just merging some parts of it - would probably make a proper Linux port and 64bit support much easier

       @ireneista @lcamtuf I guess that could work if you really investigate all the fundamental mistakes, as well as the regular bugs/pitfalls, from the first time and try your best to avoid them.Assuming that "it was written in a less safe language" was the only or even most important issue is.. not that useful

       @wolf480pl @aicaution I read about such an experiment in Germany and the results were extremely good.Participants where previous attempts to get them clean failed were able to live a normal life again and could even work.Turns out often the main problem isn't taking the drugs but the crap that's mixed into drugs sold on the streets and having to do crimes to afford them and homelessness.But longtime addicts are different situation than school kids ;)
