       Went back to my local NDE Gradient filter branch and actually got it working! Previously you could toggle the visibility of gradient filters, now they're fully editable.We got a number of requests for the Gradient tool to be non-desturctive, so I'm glad that that's pretty close to happening now!

       @rodlie @MoritzBrouhaha We have some developers dedicated to improving the text tool (including a GSoC project this summer: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/programs/2026/projects/iZpusJ8W)A lot of work to do, but I think it's been getting better. :)
