       @murena @volla @e_mydata 5 problems 1. Unavailable in my country2.  it's way  too small for me to use3. It doesnt have a disc/optical drive as is essential in anything I'd even consider buying above the size of a mobile phone4.  the price point (around $800) is too high 5. The volla operating system likely comes pre-installed with it's AI embedded in it, if I'm going with open source I want it with a clear of AI linux kernel on it or a blank setup for me to choose my own when I get it.

       @richrollgardener good to know they can last that long without rotation, as I did want to setup a little steady nook of my gardens for some rhubarb plants.  Strawberry Rhubarb pie being a favorite of mine, so I may set some Strawberry plants for rotation near them.#Gardening

       @murena Not really,  I'm waiting on one with a physical keyboard as without that, I don't see their advantage for my needs over the new pi5 handheld computers, which cost about $200 -250 including the case, no monthy fees or carrier needed.A physical Qwerty keyboard isn't just a "nice option" for me but an absolute need in a computer of any size.With all current murena devices I'd at best first need to spend $100-800 then get a mini keyboard for $25-35 & cases with screen/keyboard protectors for them both at $100- 150, and then hope the setup actually worked with a decent carrier with a monthly $50-70 cost.

       @murena I don't want nor need a banking app, I need my portable computers, smartphone or otherwise to have physical keyboards as otherwise they don't work reliably enough for me to buy & use them.

       @murena I really think the better solution is to pull away from a society that mandates cellphone use & #smartphones primarily, in the first place. Bringing back public payphones/phone booths & adding internet terminals being a healthier concept than what amounts to branding shifts in tracking devices that pretty much all are coerced into using to one degree or another.The fact that most devices rely upon the wrongful assumption that everyone can use touchscreens easily just adding to the mess set overall.  Technological innovation & advances are supposed to bring inclusiveness but lately has been instead bringing more & more problems for those who can't conform! #DisabilityAccessibility

       @murena The only Android offerings for smartphone with physical keyboards are in the $500-600 range, which isn't a price point that's achievable for most disabled people, so the 2 realistic options are: getting one of these  https://www.waveshare.com/pocketterm35.htm?ref=itsfoss.comlinux devices for about $200 & fidgeting enough to get them to work in this sphere.(It's not fully absent a touchscreen but it seems close enough to function.) There's a free path that takes more time & knowledge but is likely far less reliable, and then there's getting a mobile Hotspot which costs money but is a simpler setup.OrGetting pretty much any standard touchscreen #Android phone - many of which are under $200 & adding one of the many mini keyboards, their price range being normally $10- $30.For those with programming knowledge & experience- there's no question but that the #Linux one is better right now, but for those without it's questionable. Clear written instructions, on how to get the Linux one to work for this, would go a very long way to making it a practical option. Similarly testing & packaging a pair of Android devices together as a degoogled setup, in one case, would help that gain greater adoption. *For now I see people just continually breaking  their devices, yelling & crying over how they don't really work, without the resources, some just lacking the knowledge on better existing, to get better options.#OpenSource #DisabilityAccessibility #Neuropathy #CervicalSpondularStenosis
