I've only been to US for 3 weeks ten years ago and the street felt more US on point than literal US made games.For the lack of better description, I found LA and SF CBD really stood out to me as places using the kind of font and signage I've never ever seen anywhere else. Lynchian is my description, but also inaccurate because I don't think this aspect is Lynch's intentional decision so much as that's just what's the local norm.

I can't quite pin down the era of where this game is set based on the fashion. I dressed like Grace in the 00s, I still sometimes do now. Everyone else felt very very formal, and not a single leggings in sight. I'm going for 2004. I still love the faux leather jacket look, but concede that in 2026 a loose hoodie with large pockets just hide layers of thermo long sleeves better. And a good waterproof raincoat just feels amazing.(please do not tell me, I'm intentionally not looking up)

A lot of you know about my nearly obsessive love towards regional rundown motels, and it's entirely because I was raised by survival horror and I feel comfort in there. There weren't even any staff there. Just the whole place to myself.This is my favourite. Except fuck it was cold.

It's super shit that there isn't a way of remove L3 as running in RE9 despite that it seems to have 3 different controller settings and allow players to customise most things.L3 should never be an important button under any circumstances anyway.

@aceattveg What VN is it? Damn. I'm too ace to enjoy genuinely sexual content, but I also found at least in Japanese VN landscape, the most experimental and interesting work are the eroge. Like no other genre will allow that degree of narrative experiment, so people who want to make non sexual VN make "eroge" with skippable pasted on sex scenes that no one cared about.This is really disappointing
