Meta realized I was getting significant reach for free, so they forced my personal account into a professional account so they’d have an excuse to data harvest all my cat photos, my voice in the posts, and harvest all the people who follow my personal profile and sell that data to competitors. So now I just won’t post there anymore. I was going to announce my store, but I’m not going to feed the Meta data harvesting machine. If I don’t post then I starve the beast.

I feel like I’ve collapsed from exhaustion. 9 days in a row it ranged from 11.5 to 18 hour days. The day I worked 16 hours nonstop, I took and edited 136 product photos in one day. All of them I pushed myself to create art to make them immune to AI harvesting.Yesterday I got the pleasure of slowly dismantling every tool of data harvesting, suppression, and crushing the valve that decided how many sales I could get, how much people could buy, what people could buy, and how many people were able to access my website. Shopify made it very clear my store belonged to Shopify not me. I was just there to be profitable for AI harvesting. Now I own my store. All the competitors who bought who I am and relied on the endless data stream from customer orders and behavior on my Shopify store has no more data. I don’t even have data. It doesn’t exist. The AI profile of me they bought is gone. The Autistic Innovator has freedom. It has been renewed.After over a year, the fight is finally over.I won.

I submitted my new homepage and other links to Google, and it accepted my new website and put it in Google within minutes. The root domain was first indexed by Google in October 2020 and the subdomain didn’t appear until August 2021, so it already trusts the original autisticinnovator.com For 5 days, I took every suppression toy away and I got to see what my normal is like. So many visitors. I was never supposed to have to worry about money. My normal is prosperous. But then I forcefully refused to be data harvested and I was immediately punished. While secretly building my freedom, I saw I was seen as nothing more than a troublemaker who was extremely profitable to harvest. Seeing the largest AI engines crawling my site almost nonstop stealing my voice and who I am to train their AI, while simultaneously wanting to destroy me, is not a good feeling.They all thought I couldn’t go anywhere and would never leave Shopify. I just had to be a good girl and let them harvest me and everything I’ve built and all my customers so they could sell me to my competitors.I freed myself. The Autistic Innovator will not be harvested by anyone. No one can steal who I am now. Everyone has to stop pretending to be an autistic innovator and think for themselves without a constant data harvesting stream from me.

I’m glad Mastodon exists. Especially this autistics.life server created in December 2022. During a time when I have to go to extremes to avoid being data harvested to stop who I am being sold to anyone who wants to pretend to be me, I still have the fediverse. I had to delete all social media apps, everything. I know this server doesn’t data harvest because I own it. My work setup is an iron fortress made to protect me and my 0 tracker store. I guess in a way my store, and me, show the extremes I have to do in order to opt out of data harvesting shows how bad the problem really is. These corporations thought they made it impossible, so F them I opted out.

@ariadne in my college science class we had to write a paper on an invasive species, and I chose Homo sapiens. I said Homo sapiens can’t stop themselves from invading all of the land on earth, causing species extinction, and now Homo sapiens are so invasive they are now invading space and other planets.

I needed to go return this laptop I bought from Walmart, and the only option was to return it to a store. But the box is too big for my lap on my power wheelchair to get it on and off 2 buses to return it, so I asked if they could do the in home return service on it since I can’t get it to the store myself. Walmart gave me a full refund on the laptop and told me to keep it. Wow.

Unfortunately this laptop is unusable. It has blocked me from installing both Brave and Steam, and will only allow me to download apps from the Microsoft Store. The only way it will let me install other apps is if I sign into a Microsoft account, which gives them the power to put all their AI, Remote Desktop, and telemetry software I deleted and disabled back on the laptop. Which I do not want. Oh well. At least I got a refund.

Nikita can read me so well. She saw me go into super focus mode, so she followed me into the office and laid down on the blanket next to my desk. Laid there purring while I worked.
