I've received a few e mails this month with a similar theme.

       From Netflix:

       >iQUOTE
Your new plan includes: ...A few short ads: designed to not interrupt you during a scene...i>

       END QUOTE

       From Paramount+:

       >iQUOTE
We have added wording which makes clear that any content and subscriptions to Paramount+ may include trailers shown before/after content, sponsorship and/or product placement (or similar). We have also clarified that live content in any subscription may contain ads and that you must not use ad-blocker technology to try and prevent the display of ads anywhere on our service.i>

       END QUOTE

       And today from Disney+:

       >iQUOTE
We're clarifying that, as we continue to increase the breadth and depth of the content we make available to you, circumstances may require that certain titles and types of content include ads, even where the subscription tier is indicated to be 'no ads' or 'ad free'.i>

       END QUOTE

That is indeed an interpretation of "no ads" and "ad free" that would not otherwise have occurred to me.

I've been trying to limit or preferably stop giving money to American businesses & this makes it all the easier.

Paying to see ads is something I'm not going to do.
