       I dropped my phone. It died.
       
       There's really not a lot to say. I loved that phone. I poured a lot of effort into getting every last bit of it just right. It was great. Now it's gone.
       
       I've gone back to using my old and almost comically small iPhone 4S. We'll see how that goes.
       
       On the eve of Apple's it's-a-suprise-but-everyone-knows-it's-the-watch event this is a salutary lesson: don't carry around hardware you can't easily afford to replace.
