It's CSS Naked Day (somewhere in the world). To highlight the importance of semantic HTML -- HTML that means something -- sites including this one are stripping off their gaudy stylesheets and going naked.

 (HTM) CSS Naked Day
Every year I think about doing this then I don't get around to it until it's too late, but not this year. It's still April 9 in the Americas and vast swathes of the Pacific, so, better late than never.

I think the old site holds up rather well naked. I even got to tweak a bit of the footer layout to make better sense naked... and that in one sentence is why I should do this every year.
