Sounds like a good idea to me too. ...Not to knock the idea of making
it amiga-specific, but have you considered designing the game using the
inform/infocom/zipcode interpreter instead? It is actually capable of
handling graphics too as I understand it. And certainly its ability to
handle the text-parsing side of things is without parallel.

I'm not sure how sophisiticated it's graphic-functions are though...
I've seen them used in a couple of the infocom titles - and it looks
not-too-bad in the Frotz interpreter for the Amiga.

Unfortunately I know nothing about the issues with _designing_ infocom
stuff on the Amiga. (Just played the stuff from the if-archive plenty.)
:) ...But it can't hurt to take at ftp.gmd.de/if-archive if you don't
know about it already, eh? (I'm assuming you do, since you know about
rec.games.int-fiction.)

Well, whichever way you decide to do it, have fun with it man. And
don't forget to put it on the if-archive when you're done so the
interactive fiction fans are aware of it.

Nathan.
