First off, thanks to David Dyte for his excellent scans of the original
packaging from The Lurking Horror. If you missed them, the web address
is http://wwwstud.uni-giessen.de/~s1788/infocom/infocom.htm and is well
worth a look.

I'd like to see more scans of this quality done, as I'm sure many of
the old gang would. It's certainly a comfort that Activision re-released
the original games (now that my disks are loosing magnetic cohesion :),
but the wonderful packaging is getting lost in terrible black-and-white
reproductions.

Thankfully, I have about 17 of the original packages, and think it would
be a worthwhile hobby to scan in as many of the 'goodies' as possible.
A good cause, if you will. It would be nice to see others take up the
call, too.

When I get a chance to return home and get to that trunk with all my old
games in them, I'll start with the scanning. If anyone has suggestions
about the image size / format / etc, please feel free to e-mail me. Or,
for that matter, where to store the images.

I hope others out there will help in constructing this quality library.
