Pay my rent and food bill for the next month, or find me a job that
pays me much better then what I make now, and Id love to get a CD rom
drive. Dont assume Im cheap becasue I dont have one; assume I dont have
one because Its impossible for me to get one with my current situation.
Better yet, dont assume at all.

And for the record I'd need a 386 motherboard, and a great deal more
ram, and probably an expanded hard drive before my computer could handle
a CD-ROM, raising the price of your little suggestion to about $300.
Yeah, its a piece of junk, but you know what? It gets me onto my MUD
fine, and it plays text games real well.
