This is totally off topic, but your sentiment here reminded me a lot about
why I liked the recent Dr. Who movie that aired on Fox..  They kept it
*reasonably* (not completely) in line with this history of Dr. Who, while
adding the "Hollywoodization" they deemed necessary.
