Yes and yes.

It seems that the mail system at the university is somewhat moody. It is 
supposed to receive mail for me at the mail gateway (uwaterloo.ca) and 
bounce it over to my real address (@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca).  This 
will be portable if I ever change programs or go into graduate school.  
Its functioning depends on the remote mailer, it seems.

I'd be happy to include it in the nascent part 3.
