I have recently discovered the int-fiction archive at ftp.gmd.de.
A number of the better games there are written for TADS and Z-code,
however, I have never heard of these systems. One of hthe archive's
pages imply that these games can be run on many systems, however, the
document explaining how to do this has conveniently been deleted.

So, my question: What is Z-code, and how do you run programs written
in it?
