Background: I'm using a Mac Powerbook 150, Apple's first disposable
computer, containing both MaxZip and Zex.

Problem: I've tried downloading several Z5 files from ftp.gmd.de, but I
always end up getting an Illegal PC Operation error when I try to run
them.

Can anyone suggest a better interpreter, a different place to get Z5
files, or a work-around to this particular problem?
