I am looking for several old books that contain solutions for
multiple comptuer games. If you have any of these, and are willing to
give/sell, please e-mail me.
First of all, I am looking for either Quest for Clues, or Quest for
Clues II.
Second, and probably most difficult. A long, long time ago (10+
years), I saw a book which contained solutions for a whole bunch
(probably over 20-30) of really early computer games, including Ultimas
I-III, Zorks I-III, Wizardry (I-III maybe, but I'm not sure), Time Zone,
SoftPorn Adventure, The Pharoah's Tomb, Mystery House, The Wizard and the
Princess, and many other long-lost gems. I do not remember the name of
the book--The Key to Adventure Games, or something similar to that? I
don't remember what was on the cover, but I thought it was an underground
setting, where an adventurer with a lamp was travelling through a mine,
with a river of fire, and things of that nature. I also remember that it
had computer generated pictures accompanying many of the
reviews/walkthroughs/solutions, including one for Planetfall showing the
player and Floyd with a caption that read, if memory serves, Floyd and
Me. Or something similar. Anyway, I realize this is a very vague
description, but if anyone has this book, please let me know!
Thanks to anyone who can help me find this stuff... I felt it best
to post it in several newsgroups just to catch the runoffs, so if you can
help, please e-mail. Thanks a lot!
