Also:

If the files end in .inf.gz, you need to use gzip to decompress them.

	Look in if-archive/download-tools for that.

If the file end in .tar, you need to use tar to expand this archive.

	Again, look in if-archive/download-tools

If the file ends in .tar.gz or .tgz, you need to first unzip them with gnu
zip, then untar them.
