I have, to the best of my knowledge a 286 with a 10 meg hard drive
and 640 K of RAM. If my financial circustances EVER get better; a
condition that seems highly doubtful somedays- I plan on picking up
some more RAM, which should fix this problem. Not only that, it
should allow me to play more games, as the newer games such as your
Lost New York, Neil, or any .z8 game done in inform wont run on the
machine (and even .z5 games are reeeeeeaaaal sllllooooooooooow)
Which brings me to my TADS question(now that its freeware). The
notes on the HTML page seem to indicate that version 2.2 of TADS
only holds a few objects in memory at a time- is this true for
compiling as well? Because if TADS only compiles a few objects at a
time, I might be able to switch over the code and continue with my
programming. . .
