Inform question, although I think I can get around it.  Looks like I'm 
going to have to redefine Give to have the right responses in the absence 
of a creature ("You can't see her" instead of "You can't see that").  

I'm just curious, wondering why the following would happen, if Jessie (who
*has* animate, by the way) isn't in the same room as the player? 

	> give flob to jessie

	You can only do that to something animate.

	> give jessie the flob

	You can't see that here.

Jessie, in fact, has animate.
