Nothing is known about the Bishop family of Maryland, except they were there, then left, and went to South Carolina first, and Dorothy Liftig

then into Kentucky. The “C” may stand for “Cooper.” A “Hannah Cooper” married a John Bishop in late-colonial Maryland.
