As 2024 is coming to an end, we take a look at what our Academic Editors said about being on the PLOS One Editorial Board.

Serving as an editor allows me to contribute to the academic community by promoting high-quality research and advancing knowledge in social sciences. Serving as an editor is a good way to establish connections with a diverse array of scholars. Simon Porcher

One of my early experiences was submitting a manuscript from my Ph.D. research to PLOS One. I was impressed with the timely and constructive peer-review process as well as the visibility that the paper received once published.
