Spacewalkers Continuing Canadarm2 Robotic Arm Repairs

NASA astronaut Chris Williams conducts a spacewalk 260 miles above Earth on June 30, 2026, to repair the Canadarm2 robotic arm on the International Space Station. NASA+

NASA astronauts Chris Williams and Jessica Meir successfully removed the wrist joint that malfunctioned on May 27 during Canadarm2 robotic arm operations. They now are working to install the replacement joint, which was already attached to the orbital complex.
