The idea that the AI bros can voluntarily police themselves with ‘morally binding’ guardrails is beyond absurd. Imagine you’re a pro quarterback who is told that all the referees have been dismissed: “We have informed each of those six-foot seven, 300-pound defensive tackles that they are morally bound not to take your head off while you are keeping your eyes downfield waiting for the receiver to break.”



Would you live in a town with no police department, even though you love all your neighbors??



Trump’s ‘AI Accord’ is actually worse than doing nothing because some morons will think that something has been done.



Those AI boys need adult supervision.
