Mutiny? [1]

['Major Kong', 'Greg Dworkin']

Date: 2026-09-23

Pogues album artwork, painting by Théodore Géricault, with the band members’ faces replacing those of the men on the raft painted by illustrator Peter Mennim.

Interesting story in Navy Times — it seems that the Navy is going ahead with electromagnetic catapults despite the order from the Commander In Chief to go back to the age of steam:

As well as touting his new, same as the old, Greenland deal and threatening annihilation of Iran again.

Could be the orange menace has his pate, er, plate full and has moved on to other things than how the Navy launches planes from aircraft carriers. Or perhaps Natalie just hasn’t pointed out to him the Navy’s disobedience yet.

If the latter, stand by for heavy rolls as we say in the Sea Service and maybe another round of high-level firings among Navy Brass.

Who knew the Deep State was so firmly entrenched in the Navy?
