Can I get a DK6 tutorial about managing communities? [1]

Long story short: I’m an admin in the Evening Shade group. I got relatively proficient with managing permissions in DK5. With DK6, I’m not seeing very many options. One of our writers is taking a month off toward the end of the month. We have a user who is willing to pick up diaries in their absence. I want to get them added to what was the community and promote them to what was an editor.

I could well have missed a tutorial, so if you just want to point me to that and I can ask questions in the comments of this diary, that’d be fine. If you want to have a further discussion and other admins want to use this as a chance to learn as well, I’m thrilled. But this is something that is unusual, with just a few folks are probably interested. As such this diary could die a sad and lonely death. But I am hoping that is not the case and we can have a fruitful dicussion.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help us maintain this site.
