Run Everywhere Winner is Now a Senate Candidate — Because of You [1]

['Franks Human', 'Chloris Creator', 'News Corpse', 'Greg Dworkin']

Date: 2026-09-02

In 2020, Angie Nixon wanted to run for the Florida House in a primary against a Trump-loving anti-Semitic “Democrat,” So a bunch of us wrote stories here, as documented by ZenTrainer in We helped get her elected. Stories like How to WIN a state with just the right amount of trying and Beach Trump with the 140 District Project: How to flip a swing state cheap helped her and others raise the funds to get her over the top.

With your help she went from a “run everywhere” state house candidate to pulling an upset victory in the Senate Democratic primary this year.

Now, about 45 courageous candidates like Angie are running in Florida’s reddest districts, and like Angie in 2020, they need your help to run a basic campaign. Even though they only need about $5,000 each, they will get zero money from the FL Democratic Party.

Think it can’t be done? Well we did it in 2025 in Virginia — raising $146,000 – more than $5,000 per candidate: The Virginia 100 District Project: The Results Speak for Themselves.

You can help these future Angie Nixons by contributing what you can to 140 Blue Florida
