We finally got some blue skies after days of rain!

Clear dawn today, thank goodness.

Richlu

And the sun came up while I was walking this morning!

And I got the added treat of a dove and a cardinal in my bird feeder.

It must be mid to late summer because the yellow goldenrod is coming out!

These pictures above are from a neighbor’s yard.

I went to check out another view of Crow Creek to see how big it was a day after the rain. It’s back to normal. The exciting thing was that when I got into the picture I saw a huge blue heron take off. This is the second time I’ve seen him at one or the other end of Crow creek. This section of crow Creek runs right by a big lake and somebody’s backyard. So I assume the Blue heron is hanging out near the lake. This blue heron is not the darker color that I usually see in florida, but a bright blue kind of like the sky. A huge wingspan that just flapped when it took off. I’ll have to have my camera ready next time I come to either of these spots.
