Early Voting is Very Important [1]

I think states vary in allowing/encouraging early voting. I’d like to see someone research and tell us which states, and what are the earliest dates. This would help target postcard campaigns from other states, and also guide canvassers informing at the door.

I’m signed up to canvass what the party is labeling “skippers”, D-leaning registered voters who have VOTED TWICE in presidential elections but who HAVE NOT VOTED in mid-terms. I’ll promote mail-in and early voting, visit each home TWICE between now and November 3.

There are various ways to target canvassing, but I like this approach. First visit is to inform, second visit to follow-up.

I think emphasis on EARLY voting is essential to offset any funny stuff on November 3.
