Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas and comedian Janesh Rahlan tackled the world’s richest loser, Elon Musk, on this week’s podcast episode of “Room Temp.”

Markos wondered if there were any happy billionaires, noting that the world’s richest men seem to spend an inordinate amount of their time and resources whining about perceived personal grievances.

“A lot of the things that make you a billionaire do not make you cool,” Janesh explained, highlighting the fragile egos of billionaire social media magnates like Musk.

“I sat in a cybertruck once,” Janesh mentioned. “It truly felt like a movie where a kid gets a gun to turn a Hot Wheels into a real car. … It was one of the most uncomfortable rides I’ve ever had.”

Then Markos ran into technical difficulties prompting Janesh to wonder if speaking so frankly about Musk was a mistake.
