Fragile testosterone [1]

Hogsbreath has issued a fatwa to our military; everyone over 30 must be tested for Testosterone and then treated if they are below some illusory standard. Of course we know that there is no scientific reason for this idiocy. How buff does a drone pilot need to be?

Beyond the waste of money, what we really need to worry about is the knowledge this sends to our adversaries. We are blasting with a foghorn that the upper levels of the American military are paranoid about their own masculinity. Our adversaries know that American top brass are weak. Their fragile masculinity makes them predictable, and therefore, even weaker.

What I find most disturbing about this is that Hogsbreath and his minions are blind to the message that they are sending about themselves.
