Get Truths Out Before Lies Take Hold: 6 examples [1] ['Chloris Creator', 'Chitown Kev'] Date: 2026-07-12 Many say how incompetent the felon is, but one skill must be acknowledged. He’s an AMAZING liar. In his first term, the Washington Post tallied up some 30,000+ lies. I’m not sure they’re still counting, because there are so many. But the felon hasn’t done this on his own. The GOP has a huge infrastructure designed for promoting lies – let’s call it the Great LIE Machine – and has had it for years. Talking points passed out to politicians. FOX News and now X. Influencers. CPAC. Billionaires buying media companies. Then Repetition. Repetition. It is so pervasive that Stuart Stevens, former GOP operative, even wrote a book about it (It Was All a Lie). So, we have a job. We need to promote the truth. That means coming up with good phrases with the truth in them. Coming up with memes. Repeating them ad nauseam. We need to go on the offense. Now, some lies are so far-fetched, we won’t see them coming. I mean, the idea that Haitians in Ohio were stealing cats and dogs and eating them was just weird. Nor would I come up with the idea that Hillary Clinton was in the basement of some pizza parlor running a pedo ring. However, it turns out there was a pedo ring run by elites. Overarching themes we can use: The billionaires and their GOP are telling you lies so you don’t see how they’re stealing from you. The billionaires and their GOP pets are distracting you with things that don’t matter so you won’t care that they’re ruining the economy. Examples: trans women in sports! I’ve been trying to come up with pithy, on the offensive, truths to combat some of the worst and most persistent lies (the ones they have told for years and which people believe). Here are my suggestions, but please add your own. 1. Democrats are best at the economy. This is something that has persisted for such a long time that even President Clinton was surprised when he saw comparisons on job numbers under D versus R presidents. And of course lots of billionaires love the GOP, because the Rs Moreover, thanks to The Apprentice, the felon was believed – despite 6 bankruptcies in real life and not on a reality show – The Economist 5 months ago with Biden and The Economist today with Trump smh….is America great yet? — WuTangIsForTheChildren (@wutangforchildren.bsky.social) 2025-04-03T11:04:34.354Z The felon much worse since then Here’s what surprised President Clinton: 2. Voter fraud is rare and usually committed by Republicans. You may wonder, how can we be sure this is true? What if voter fraud exists and we haven’t found it? There’s a saying: “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” That may be true if we’re looking for fairies and tachyons or examples of telekinesis. But that adage does hold not true if we’re seaching in a closed, well-defined set, where we can look at every instance. In other words, when you examine the status of every single vote – for literally billions of votes – and find almost no voter fraud, that means there is almost no voter fraud. (The Brennan Center’s analysis of the Heritage Foundation’s voter analysis database.) We’ve seen this in other instance, such as when the 2020 Arizona votes were analyzed by the Cyber Ninjas and ended up tallying even more votes for President Biden. It turns out, voter fraud often ends up being traced back to Republicans. I think this is because of the lies told by the Great Lie Machine. Some Republicans believe that Ds are committing voter fraud all the time, so they believe (1) it must be easy to do (it is not); and (2) they should do it in order to even the playing field. Here’s an example (Associated Press): DENVER (AP) — A Colorado woman has been found guilty of voter fraud for casting ballots for both her late ex-husband and son, prosecutors said. Elizabeth Ann Davis, 61, was convicted Wednesday of two counts of forgery and one count of impersonating an elector for submitting mail ballots for them in the 2022 general election. Voter fraud is generally rare and detectable since the nation’s election processes provide many safeguards, according to current and former election officials. Voters are required to put their signature on ballots before returning them. Davis, a Republican, has previously been convicted of forgery and other offenses in Florida and Colorado, a press release from the office of District Attorney George Brauchler said. Here is an actual illegal alien who voted: REPUBLICAN MAYOR IN KANSAS FACING DEPORTATION OVER VOTER FRAUDJoe Ceballos, a longtime Republican and small-town mayor in Kansas, is facing felony voter fraud charges and possible deportation from the presidential administration he voted for. There’s Ken Paxton, Tuberville, and even the VP’s half-brother. Here’s Gabbard: 3. Republicans are in bed with Russia and the “communists” Note not true of all Republicans. Many have been very pro Ukraine. But the lie that’s being churned out at FOX is now that the Ds are communists, and although this is confusing because we haven’t been worrying about communists that much for a while, this is the lie they’re trying. The felon’s adoration of Vlad is well established. And that is true of many other in the GOP: Agree that GOP congress members are bought out by Putin. Remember the famous 12 who quietly spent July 4th in Moscow, with Ron Johnson leading the group in 2017? No reason was given for their visit there;the NRA was then given $61M by Russia. 41 million of it went to senators campaigns. — DougBlueWahoo 🦋💙✌️🌈🌊 (@dougbluewahoo2.bsky.social) 2025-02-19T21:29:38.622Z Let’s remind the world of this. 4. Immigrants are good for the economy & society This is something people are actually noticing, as ICE has been targeting people in agriculture, food processing, restaurants, construction, home health-care and more. But let’s include some statistics: Since 1994, immigrants have paid more in taxes than they receive in benefits every year.Do not believe the lies you hear about immigrants. They are good for society and the economy. — Robert Reich (@rbreich.bsky.social) 2026-03-12T20:45:14.876292Z Also, with the exception of being in the US illegally, they commit far fewer crimes than people here legally: THREAD: The Trump administration's DOJ has removed a study from the NIJ website that found that immigrants, and particularly undocumented immigrants, commit crimes at significantly lower rates than U.S. citizens. The study is at odds with the Trump regime's propaganda about immigrants & crime. Democrats are better at running things I recently had a diary on the incompetence and corruption we’re seeing with felon and friends. The GOP has been lying for decades about this, at least since Reagan talked about drowning the federal government in a bathtub to Musk and the DOGE cuts that have cost us many, many billions of dollars. It’s always easier to bulldoze than to build; still, let’s take a look: Remember when there was a bridge collapse in Pennsylvania? Governor Shaprio got it fixed ASAP. (As noted in the comments, this 12 day fix only got it open, and it still needed a lot of work – but he got it open for traffic) Josh Shapiro in Pennsylvania the highway bridge collapse. They told him it would take at least 12 months to rebuild it. He cut through the red tape and got it done in 12 days and became a hero to the state including Republicans. — Adam Galas (@adamgalas.bsky.social) 2025-03-19T15:36:09.089Z The felon has managed to turn a fountain brown: The fountain at Meridian Hill Park in DC has been brown since the Trump administration's restoration work and remains so today. DOGE has cost the US Treasury fucking half a trillion dollars. HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS. This is your cost savings. — Josh Marshall (@joshtpm.bsky.social) 2025-03-22T21:20:12.609Z Here’s a recent example: Elon Musk’s DOGE cut the federal government’s screwworm monitoring program, which cost $15 million. Now, the Trump administration is preparing to spend $1 billion to combat the screwworm outbreak.Never forget how destructive and downright stupid DOGE was. — Robert Reich (@rbreich.bsky.social) 2026-06-17T19:30:11.355518Z 6. Republicans are protecting pedophiles We know a lot of work has been done to protect the felon with respect to Epstein: “We are deeply disturbed to learn so many senior members of the Trump administration gathered in the Situation Room to discuss the release of the Epstein Files as a reputational problem… we are separately concerned Todd Blanche was at that table.” — The Tennessee Holler (@thetnholler.bsky.social) 2026-06-13T02:54:28.224Z It’s not just the executive branch. Speaker Mike Johnson kept closing Congress so he wouldn’t have to hold a vote on the Epstein files. More than a dozen Epstein survivors, along with the family of Virginia Guiffre, send a letter to Speaker Mike Johnson demanding he call the House back into session and swear in Adelita Grijalva. @jimacosta.bsky.social open.substack.com/pub/jimacost… — Christine Moretti (@christine520.bsky.social) 2025-10-30T21:41:20.223Z It’s not just Epstein. Here’s Jim Jordan: Holy shit! " www.yahoo.com/news/article… — Ambassador Greg Delawie (@gregdelawie.bsky.social) 2026-05-02T23:23:10.453Z There are so many examples. Alex Acosta, Pam Bondi, and more. The message is clear. Republicans protect pedophiles. We Hold These Truths to Be Self-Evident Beautiful words as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence (note the phrase was written by Benjamin Franklin, not Thomas Jefferson). However, it’s not accurate in general. Truths are not self-evident. Truths need to be promoted and repeated. We can’t know all the crazy lies they will tell, but we can arm ourselves and protect our fellow Americans by promoting and repeating the truth. Which other lies need to be fought against, and how would you rephrase them to be active, on the offense, instead of defensive? Thanks so much for reading, and I look forward to reading your comments. 🐦‍⬛🐦🐦‍⬛I do a lot of other writing.
