Lindsey Graham is Dead [1]

['Chitown Kev', 'Chloris Creator']

Date: 2026-07-11

Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator from South Carolina and long time Trump and fascism enabler died today after a “brief and sudden illness.”

“Emergency personnel responded to a call for “cardiac arrest” at Graham’s Capitol Hill home on Saturday night, according to police scanner audio obtained by NBC News.

Photographs reviewed by NBC News show that paramedics carried a person on a stretcher from Graham’s home to an awaiting ambulance. Police cars and fire trucks were also on site.”

Lindsey Graham devoted decades to public service. Once upon a time, he was one of the few republicans I somewhat respected. But like all Republicans, Senator Graham abandoned many of the principles he once publicly championed to become one of Donald Trump’s most…um…loyal….uh….defenders, helping to legitimize efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, justifying the terrorist attack of January 6th, and he repeatedly promoted military intervention abroad, and championed hard core right wing judicial appointments and policies at home that rolled back abortion rights and voting rights. Senator Graham helped to weaken democratic institutions and helped MAGA and Trump divide and weaken the country. These things will prove as much (if not more) a part of Graham’s legacy as any of his legislative accomplishments. Later, bro!

Please add your own kind and generous eulogies and rememberences in the comments.
