Trump posted his moral code on Truth Social [1]

I, the author of this post, added Trump to the painting “An Angel Leading a Soul into Hell” painted by Hieronymus Bosch in the 16th century.

Trump posted his view of morality on his Truth Social account on July 5. It is this. If you won’t get caught AND suffer punishment, there is literally no reason to do the right thing. You’re a sucker and a loser if you don’t take advantage of getting away with it. Obviously 77,302,580 Americans agree with this.

He has practiced this moral code his entire life. It is obvious from his behavior. To him, NOTHING is wrong if you can get away with it. Nothing.

It’s probably the only reason he won’t start a nuclear war. He knows he’ll be dead before climate change makes the planet unlivable. Even he knows that Mars isn’t an option. This is the moral code we’ve seen Trump follow.

Unfortunately I think Trump will get away with it. The more depressing thought is that 77 million Americans thought it was fine to elect someone with Trump’s moral code.
