2 WEEK MYSTERY OF TEXAS GIRAFFE SOLVED! THE UNTOLD STORY! “OVERCAME FEAR OF FLYING AND LIONS TO SEE MY TEAM PLAY!” [1]

Gracie, the missing wandering giraffe of Texas, made it all the way to New York during her two-week odyssey.

Somehow she managed to go unnoticed on her journey to fulfill her lifelong dream: seeing her favorite team, the Lions of Teranga, take on Norway at the World Cup.

While native New Yorkers have come to expect the unexpected, most were so distracted by Team Norway’s Viking row aboard public transportation and on escalators that they failed to notice the 11-foot giraffe in mirrored Ray-Bans wearing a Senegal jersey.

Much of Gracie’s time was reportedly spent hiding in plain sight as a display at F.A.O. Schwarz and visiting distant ungulate relatives at the Bronx Zoo, who declined to comment.

Using a borrowed clown outfit, Gracie rode the subway to Coney Island, where she immediately fell in love with the Coney dog after a full day of roller coasters, games, and attractions. She was later overheard asking if anyone knew where she could get “just one more.”

During a photo shoot audition for Norma Kamali, in hopes of remaining in New York permanently, the other models marveled at her appetite and envied her uncanny ability to consume an alarming number of coney dogs without gaining a pound.

Witnesses say Gracie proudly proclaimed:

“I OVERCAME MY FEAR OF FLYING… AND LIONS… TO SEE MY TEAM PLAY!”

Her vacation came to an abrupt end when a spectator finally looked up during the Norway–Senegal match and noticed the tallest supporter in the stadium. Realizing she might soon be tranquilized and shipped back to Texas, Gracie quietly slipped out before the final whistle.

TSA supervisors later explained that agents had been instructed to be courteous to tourists and not to stare at visitors who might be different from those to whom they were accustomed. Apparently, everyone took the guidance very seriously.
