No, not Morse. Me.

I was fine last night. Woke up this morning to a godawful sore throat and aching like I’d been beaten up in Tinyhands McFelony’s shitty cage match. Took some Tylenol and powered through my morning routine. Animals need feeding and there’s no one else around to do it.

I dug out a test kit from last year, followed the directions scrupulously (it’s a little more complicated than a pee test for pregnancy) and got the faint pink line on “T”. Which according to the manufacturer and the internet is still a positive.

I’m going to wait until this evening and test again. I don’t want to just assume anything. I’m not going anywhere. Except maybe back to bed.

I got my first vaccination as soon as it was available. Got boosters as soon as they were available.

Last year, it was not available here. I called the county health people for weeks to check if it was finally here. It never was. So I gave up.

This really really sucks.
