Is She Serious? [1]

As a registered Independent voter in Florida, I received the following email from the campaign of Ashley Moody who is running for reelection to the US Senate:







Note the sentence I saw firsthand the devastating consequences of the Biden’s reckless border policies. That is not even proper grammar. Did they mean “consequences of Biden’s reckless border policies” or, perhaps “consequences of the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies”? Maybe they think the so called “reckless border policies” are the property of the entire Biden family.



I know I am being pedantic here, but if a sitting Senator’s campaign cannot even get basic grammar correct, how can they expect to be considered a serious campaign? I haven’t taken the time to look into the proposed legislation from the email, but I’d bet dollars to donuts that those are grammatical messes as well.

Note that there is absolutely no way this candidate could ever get my vote, but an email like this is pretty insulting to the voters to whom they are trying to appeal. Also, since primaries in Florida are only open to voters registered to a party, why would someone registered as Independent even get something like this?
