STILL WAITING! [1]

Presumably like a bunch of other members, readers, and hangers-on, I’m still waiting for comments to reappear. That it’s taken this long suggests something is terribly wrong with the new Kos site, and/or the coders who put it together.

More to the point, why is this somehow my problem? I can’t access a story’s comments and it’s my fault, and the access to which must have something to do with my system? The resolution to which requires me to change this that or the other parameter, turn this feature off and that one on, or use a particular browser (that I don’t ordinarily use), or something else entirely. Whatever the resolution, the fault and responsibility to fix is somehow mine, right?

Not so very long ago, reading users’ comments was a no-brainer; they were right there with the author’s post. Now. . . . well, who knows what’s the matter? I don’t, and I have jumped through all the recommended hoops without success.

It’s almost–almost–enough to convince me to stop reading DK entirely, and I may yet if this stupid error doesn’t get resolved soon.
