[1] ['View Profile', 'Greg Dworkin', 'Belinda Ridgewood'] Date: 2026-05-02 Since the big change-over, I no longer see comments. Not just sometimes, not just some comments on some stories. All comments. Every one of them. Gone, completely (ever since the switchover). I find it ironic to read stories describing how comments are being improved. Even more ironic that the author asks people to post follow-ups to let them know if there are any problems. Comments? WHAT COMMENTS? A note to those trying to IMPROVE comments: it’s pointless to ask people to reply to your posts asking for how things are going – at least some of us no longer see comments – at all. So, there’s little point in replying to this story – I won’t see your comments. But this would seem to be the only way I can communicate that comments are a 100% fail for me. This seems pretty basic and extremely broken to me. /shrug Maybe my experience is atypical, an edge case, and not many people are impacted by this. But how would anyone know? Beats me, all I know is, I haven’t seen a single comment since the big switch happened. I’m probably not the only one (but we may never know…).
