On Olbermann’s countdown podcast, Keith points out that the Saturday security breach was not unique for presidents in the past, noting 15 times that similar incidents happened under Obama.

Thinking about this I wanted to share the following observations

Obama never called attention to these incidents the way Trump does, often downplaying issues of his own security to the public.

Obama or his staff never blamed Republican rhetoric, although often it was much more incendiary.

No one in the Obama administration ever called for the firing of media members related to any of these incidents.

No alarmist calls for a massive, luxury security bunker at the White House for public events

No attempts to turn these events into pity parties for the president

Im sure there are many more comparisons to be drawn, I look forward to reading them in the comments
