What is for dinner? How are you doing? What is on your mind. If you are new to Street Prophets please introduce yourself beyond the fold in a comment. This is an Open Thread / Coffee Hour and all topics of conversation are welcome.

Earth Month, celebrated throughout April, grew out of the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970. Its origin was a massive U.S. grassroots protest against environmental destruction. Initiated by Senator Gaylord Nelson following the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill, the movement raised awareness, leading to the EPA’s creation and major laws like the Clean Air and Water Acts.

I remember being on the beach in 1969 and seeing the gooey oil slicks. I even stepped in one. It is going to take me a while to get confortable with the new interface. How about you?
