Late Nighter Roundup-Friday, April 24th, 2026 [1]

['View Profile', 'Greg Dworkin', 'Eric Yonce', 'Chloris Creator']

Date: 2026-04-24

I put these diaries out when there is new content, scheduled for 7:00 AM eastern, 4:00 AM pacific. I primarily focus on the monologues, but I also add some interviews for someone that’s not just promoting a movie. I usually look for authors, journalists and politicians, but sometimes there’s a celebrity that is promoting a really good cause that I’ll feature as well. I’ve been known to break my own guidelines.

I used to do these in a comment in The Evening Shade diaries, but with DK6’s current commenting system and the lack of any sort of embedding, they became not particularly possible, so they have been given a diary of their own. In DK5, watching a video in a diary would often unexpectedly stop when an auto refresh happened. That appears to no longer be the case.

Late nighters

First, a little palate cleanser from the Colbert crew

Seth Meyers:

Stephen Colbert:

Jimmy Kimmel:

Jimmy Fallon:

The Daily Show:

Elizabeth Warren on Stephen Colbert:

Bonus content from The Daily Show:

Typically, there is no new content on Friday nights, so there will likely be nothing tomorrow. Saturday Night Live’s cold open and Weekend Update will get put up on Sunday if it’s a new episode. Often John Oliver and Have I Got News for You will publish on Sunday night and will get covered on Monday.

This content has not been previewed. Watch it at your own risk. I’ll reply in the comments if anything worthy comes up.
