No matter what, comments are disabled since the update. All ad-blockers are off, tracking protection is off, alternate browsers are tried. The result in any and all cases, for any and all browsers:

Site interaction is crippled. I have posted this using an article as there is no other way to do anything on the new site.

EDIT: I can see the comment number going up on this post, but I can neither see the text of comments nor respond them. I cannot see who is commenting. Until the issue is fixed, all I can do is look at the raw comment number at the top, next to the social share buttons (not part of the comment system). There is nothing I can do, other than blindly edit this story, to communicate on this site.
