A Possible Workaround For Missing Comments? [1]

So, like many here, I’ve been frustrated about not being able to see the comments for stories. I tried turning off my Adblocker extensions, etc. That worked one time. Then the next day I ran into the same problem. Grrr!! I checked, and my Adblockers were still off. What the heck?? So I tried turning my Adblockers etc. on and then off again, went back to the story I was reading, and reloaded it. Voila, they popped in! So next I wondered what if I simply try reloading the story without bothering with the turning-Adblockers-on-and-off business. Well, that worked! I checked on another story and found it to be the same. It looks like after the page loads I can get the comments by reloading the page.

Just for the record, I’m using Chrome for my browser, and I’m on a Windows laptop. I have not tried it with Firefox, or on my Android phone.

It still sucks that I have to go through this rigamarole to get to the comments. And that I have to turn the Adblockers etc off, only to have to turn them back on again when I go about other business on the internet. Despite this nuisance, I have faith that The Powers That Be here at DKos will eventually have everything running smoothly.

PS: I can’t swear this is a good work around in all cases. It works for me, for today. I’ll see what comes tomorrow.
