ICE Agent Facing Felony Charges In MN On The Run [1]

A warrant for the arrest of Ice Agent Gregory Donnell was issued on 4/16/2026 for an assault that occurred on 5 February because he would likely not respond to a summons and his whereabouts are presently unknown.

Minneapolis, Minnesota – The Hennepin County criminal complaint in Minnesota was filed on April 16, 2026 against USICE agent Gregory Donnell Morgan Jr., 35, who has been criminally charged with two state felony counts for 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. USICE agent Morgan is facing up to 7 years in prison and $4,000 to $14,000 in fines for each count, or both, if convicted on all counts as first reported by the Hispanic News Network.

The agent was in a rented and unmarked SUV that showed no indication of being an ICE vehicle, Hennepin County, prosecutor Mary Moriarty, said during a press conference on Thursday.

After the incident, Morgan told state investigators he and his partner were at the end of their shift, heading back to a federal building at the time. He admitted he drew his firearm after the other vehicle rejoined the flow of traffic, Moriarty said.

The agent, Gregory Donnell Morgan Jr., of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, pointed a gun at two people in a car as he attempted to pass them in an unmarked vehicle on the shoulder of a highway, according to the criminal complaint.

The victims fearing for their lives called 911.

The New York Times reports that the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Mr. Morgan, who faces two counts of second-degree assault, could not be reached for comment and it was not clear if he had retained a lawyer.
