Evening, fellow Kibitzers. Phew. I started writing this post Wednesday morning, some back and forth with eeff on gmail. First time around I was totally lost. Quite nervous that I wasn’t going to be able to figure out how to navigate this new WordPress template. It’s Thursday afternoon right now and I’ve come back to the post, figured out how to queue, how to insert a picture. The basics are there and if you’re reading this now, we’re live and survived the transition. With a little more poking around I figure I’ll find out if there is a place where the KTK boilerplate is stored and how to insert images and the like into posts. I can recall going through several iterations of DK back in the day. Everyone complained at first but then got used to the new system and grew to like it. So I’m hoping I’ll gain some fluency in how to navigate around here. Now on to other news. Yesterday was my birthday. Turned 75. Had a therapy session in the morning and a workout in the afternoon. Lots of birthday messages and my friend from the dogpark came over to help me put down the ginormous 10×12 rug I ordered in my living room. That and the runner in the entranceway are the finishing touches in my first iteration of what my new home will look like. Gotta say I’m liking it a whole lot more than my previous place. I’ve really put some effort into showcasing my possessions, hanging favored pictures, and it’s so clean right now. It just amazed me when I moved out how must dust and dog hair were behind and underneath the furnitue. The old place, though I had someone in once a month to give it a good cleaning, was quite dirty. I’m going to really make an effort to keep up with dusting and vacuuming and keeping the floors clean. Overall, the day ended up pleasant enough. Watched an Apple TV series with Elizabeth Ross which held my attention and ordered in Puerto Rican food from Doordash. Still really pleased about the move. Even though the new place is right off Bridgeway and I can hear the cars, it’s mush more quiet than before. And very cozy. . Maisie and I start training with a behaviorist next week. She’s still exhibiting a little leash reactivity, some resource guarding, and then there is the separation anxiety. For a dog who seemed just perfect, she’s developed some issues for sure. Still as sweet as ever and just loves people. So that’s about it from me. Curious to see if the KTK picture I chose shows up here. See you all in the comments. P.S. One thing I still haven’t figured out is how to accept someone into a group. I received severral emails yesterday from folks wanting to join groups I administer. Read through diary about this but can’t seem to locate the screen they shared. Anyone know about this?
